Terms of use
Guided Hunts & Services
All hunts are fully guided and conducted using hunting buggies. During the rut season, buck rattling and grunting will be available, along with safari-style hunts.
Hunt Policies & Restrictions
- Certain restrictions apply.
- The wounded animal policy is strictly enforced. If a hunter draws blood, the animal is considered successfully harvested, and the hunt is deemed complete—regardless of whether the deer is located immediately or later. Guides have the sole authority to determine if an animal was hit or wounded based on observed reactions, visible wounds, blood evidence, or other indicators.
- Guides make every effort to accurately assess and describe animals to hunters; however, the final decision to shoot rests entirely with the hunter.
Field Dressing & Processing
- Our staff will field dress the deer. Upon request, we will transport it to a local meat processor or taxidermist of your choice.
- Hunters are responsible for all processing and taxidermy fees.
Hunter Safety & Regulations
- Safety is a top priority. Hunters must adhere to all state-mandated hunter education requirements, particularly for youth hunters.
- Hunters are responsible for obtaining the appropriate state hunting license.
- Firearms should only be loaded when in hunting blinds or as instructed by a guide.
- Firearms must remain unloaded in vehicles and near lodge/ranch facilities.
Firearms & Equipment
- Hunters must provide their own rifle and ammunition. Upon request, and with reasonable notice, a loaner rifle may be available.
- Hunters are encouraged to have their rifles sighted in before arrival. For those traveling by air or concerned about their firearm, a rifle range is available.
Recommended Gear
To ensure a comfortable and successful hunt, hunters are encouraged to bring:
- Waterproof gear for rainy conditions
- Warm clothing suited for the weather
- Protective eyewear
- Camouflaged clothing
- Snake boots
- Camera, batteries, and chargers.
